Counted tomato plants today. I have 36. And the okra I planted (120feet row) last week is up. Interesting year, though. Spring has been cooler, and has shoved things back 2-3 weeks. And any place has its own microclimates, where some things grow better than others. This year, those spots are all messed up, at least at my place.

This company trades on the pink sheets and has one (ever) clinical trial registered, not yet recruiting, for knee arthritis.

"Fine-tuned" for what? For today's software developers, that usually means getting the code to run efficiently within the given execution environment, usually along the line of running with the least amount of memory or storage, getting results within the least amount of time, or consuming the least amount of power to complete certain tasks. Scientists and statisticians are not typically trained to write "fine-tuned code." Computer code need not be "fine-tuned" to produce correct results. "Fine-tuned" code can still produce wrong results if the model or data fed into the code are wrong.

Unfortunately someone is really bad at plagiarizing a really old yarn out of the UK, decades old. But maybe it’s just satire to begin with. Eva Longoria and Jim Morrison of the Doors are from Kingsville and that is not fake news. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/police-radar-missile/

God love the consumer who has an app for every place they do business with. I couldn’t do it. I won’t even carry cards...if you can’t recognize me by me putting in my phone number we can’t do business.

Burning flags is a bloody stupid thing to do, and makes no difference to anything other than demonstrate that you're an impotent twat filled with rage. Not sure you should go to jail for it, but Germany has a different history from almost all other countries, so they may see this differently.

@Axtremus said in The alien apocalypse is upon us: Ugh, all these people standing so close together, all without face mask. Didn’t the White House just issued new guidelines requiring people to wear face masks around Trump? My digital meme double got the antibody-bleach shot cocktail didn’t yours?

@Mik said in Fascinating blood predictors of severe COVID response: These tests I believe only apply to folks who are already ill and would be of no use if asymptomatic folks. I wonder about the hs-CRP though. I know that a high level of normal CRP is an indicator of an immune system in high gear. Got it.
